Coalition Board urges approval of Mountain Line Ballot Proposals

The Coalition's Board of Directors has voted to publically support Propositions 401, 403, 404, and 405.

In recognizing that many families depend on dependable public transportation, the Coalition urges voters to support the Mountain Line ballot proposals above.

While many Board members acknowledged the positive aspects of a fleet of hybred buses, they found it difficult to advocate for a direct connection between purchasing more hybred busses, and the welfare of Flagstaff''s children and youth and their families.

We urge the voters of Flagstaff to consider the positive impact good public transportation has on the health, welfare, and education of Flagstaff's children and youth.

House Continuing Resolution (HCR) 2044 would allow the state legislature to raid voter approved and protected funding for initiatives such as First Things First.
