COCONINO COUNTY — Dozen of families received a variety of information from a number of organizations (including the Coconino Coalition for Children & Youth) during a Community Health and Wellness Fair held on June 11, 2025 at the Bodaway-Gap Chapter House.
The event, presented by the Coconino County Health and Human Services, featured Rec on Wheels activities, NARCAN training and distribution, tobacco cessation resources, rental and utility assistance, car seat safety checks and services provide by Tuba City Regional Health Care Corporation (TCRHCC) Mobile Medical Unit.
Additional community partners taking part in the event included Arizona Complete Health, Arizona Dept. of Economic Security — Arizona Early Intervention Program (AzEIP), Arizona Dept. of Veterans Affairs, Arizona Dept. of Veterans Services, Arizona Trauma Services, Canyonlands Healthcare, CCC&Y, Catholic Charities Community Services, Child & Family Resources, Coconino County Adult Probation, Coconino County Health & Human Services — (AZ Health Zone), Health and Wellness Team), Coconino County Elections Dept., Coconino County Recorder Native American Outreach, Coconino County Sheriff’s Search and Rescue, Family Spirit — Promoting Maternal and Early Child Health, Coconino County — Women, Infants and Children (WIC), Glen Canyon National Recreational Area, Glen Canyon Outdoor Academy, Native American Disability Law Center, Nava Home Health Care LLC, Navajo Nation Behavioral & Mental Health Services, Navajo Nation Early Childhood Collaborative, Navajo Nation TB Control Program, Navajo EPA — Water Quality Program, Navajo Nation OSERS Vocational Rehabilitation, Northern Arizona University’s TRIO Educational Opportunity Centers, savvi services for the blind Tsinaabaas Habitiin Elementary School, Tuba City Dental Clinic, Victim Witness Services of Northern Arizona, Western Navajo Agency Diné Youth.

The Coalition will next take part in the Tuba City Family Fun Day resource fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. DST Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at Louise Yellowman County Park, Tuba City. Presented by Coconino County Health and Human Services — (AZ Health Zone).

That will be followed by the Tuba City Regional Networking Meeting (with a Zoom hybrid), at 4 p.m. DST Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at the Tuba City Public Library, downstairs conference room.
