CCC&Y Spotlight — Coalition provides listing of upcoming Health and Welfare Resource Meetings

With a variety of program service changes affecting nonprofit and governmental agencies, it is vital that organizations maintain communications and partner with each other to better serve families and youth at this time of uncertain funding support.

To aid in that effort, the Coconino Coalition for Children & Youth maintains this listing of virtual and in-person health and welfare resource networking meetings held each month in Coconino County and Northern Arizona.

The meetings offer health professionals and representatives from a variety groups the opportunity to share information on upcoming programs and events that benefit the educational, health and welfare needs of children, youth and families throughout the region.

The following is a listing of some of those meetings. Please check with individual meeting group coordinators for updated times, dates and meeting links. Please send any updates to frank@coconinokids.org

The Winslow Early Childhood meeting is held from 2 to 3 p.m. the first Monday of the month via Google Meet at https://meet.google.com/gfi-hjwv-kuo?hs=224&pli=1. Contact meeting host Justine McDilda at jmcdilda@azdes.gov to be added to the monthly invitation list.

The Coconino Coalition for Children & Youth’s Prevention Council meeting is held at 10 a.m. the first Thursday of the month via Zoom at https://zoom.us/j/326805020. Contact meeting host Virginia Watahomigie at virginia@coconinokids.org to be added to the invitation list.

The monthly Tuba City Regional Networking Zoom Meeting, presented by CCC&Y with the support of Coconino County and the Tuba City Public Library, is currently held from *10 a.m. to noon Flagstaff and Tuba City time, the second Wednesday of the month. Those attending the monthly meeting receive meeting notes sent to more than 120 meeting subscribers and meeting handouts.  (*Meeting hours will be moved forward one-hour to Dine Standard Time on March 8, 2025, moving back one hour on Nov. 1, 2026). The Williams Early Childhood Group meeting is held from 1 to 2 p.m. the third Tuesday of the month via Google Meet at https://meet.google.com/cik-mofh-zxq. Contact meeting host Justine McDilda at jmcdilda@azdes.gov to be added to the monthly invitation list.

The Williams Community Resource Meeting is held at 1 p.m. the third Wednesday of the month on Zoom (Click here for the link),  Meeting ID: 630 106 3823, Passcode: 12345. The AZ Strip Community Resource Meeting is held from 3 to 4 p.m. the third Wednesday of the month in December, February, April, June, August, October via Zoom at https://us02web.zoom.us/j/86130875041?pwd=I0pn0Kv0HjRlOLfYqQKHXpOnRG5cw7.1. This meeting serves as a collaborative space for agencies, organizations, and community members working to support the Arizona Strip region.
