FLAGSTAFF — Dozens of families celebrated the return of the Flagstaff Early Childhood Fair on Saturday, April 5 at Killip Elementary School in Flagstaff.
The 10th annual version featured children’s activities, resources for parents and providers, a teacher supply swap, dental screenings and other information. Previous early childhood fairs were held at Flagstaff High School.
Presented by Coconino County Health and Human Services’ AZ Health Zone, the event was sponsored by the Coconino Coalition for Children & Youth, Flagstaff Unified School District (FUSD), Killip Elementary School and Mountain Line.
Organizations staffing the event included the Arizona Dept. of Economic Security, Arizona PBS — Arizona State University, Boys & Girls Club of Flagstaff, Girl Scouts — Arizona Cactus-Pines Council, Chicano Por La CAUSA (CPLC), Coconino County — Women, Infants and Children (WIC), the Guidance Center, Kaibab Behavioral Services, North County HealthCare, NACOG Head Start, Northland-Rural Therapy Associates — Az Early Intervention Program Provider, Raising Special Kids, Red Rock State Park Junior Ranger and Tynkertopia.
