Education Forward Arizona —
“At Education Forward Arizona, we believe every student should have access to a high-quality education, regardless of their zip code. Your donation is instrumental in supporting our efforts to expand equity and access to postsecondary education — in pursuit of reaching the state’s Achieve60AZ goal.”
These efforts include:
• Innovative Scholarship Programs: Our dedicated Success Advisers support scholarship recipients in navigating the college system for a seamless transition into their career.
• Direct Student Support: Through initiatives like AdviseAZ and College Knowing & Going, we offer 1:1 support to students in low-income high schools and community sites, creating a college-going culture across Arizona.
• FAFSA Completion and Awareness: The AskBenji chatbot plays a pivotal role in helping students complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA),making postsecondary education more accessible.
• Empowering Counselors: The Arizona College Access Network (AzCAN) equips school counselors and college access professionals with the tools and knowledge necessary to guide students toward their academic goals.
• Statewide Advocacy: From dual enrollment programs to scholarship funding, we champion efforts that ensure Arizonans of all backgrounds are setup for success through every stage of their educational journey.

Flagstaff Youth Riders (FLYRS) —
Each year we are faced with both new and old challenges. We are hit with everything from snow to fires and forest closures impacting our seasons along with continuously increasing expenses. Many communities don’t have a program like FLYRS and not too long ago Flagstaff didn’t either. Just like the youth in our programs, FLYRS staff, board, and coaches continually practice resiliency to keep our programs running so we can get kiddos outside and off their screens.
Approximately 40% of our budget comes from donors, sponsors, and fundraisers to offer free programming and keep prices affordable for our other programs.
We need your help in supporting FLYRS! Please support us with a donation this AZ Gives Day to reach our goal of $1,000. All donations on April 1-2 will be matched up to $500.

Tynkertopia —
” One of our loyal supporters, Charlot Root, will generously donate $2,000
if we raise $2,000 through individual donations. Every dollar you donate
will essentially be doubled during this match challenge. Please donate today through April 2 at midnight to help Tynkertopia raise $4,000 to support the free services we provide to the Flagstaff community!”

United Way of Northern Arizona —
This is the day Arizonans come together and unite for positive, lasting changes in our communities by supporting the nonprofits that are making a difference in our state every day.
We invite you to step up for our youth and our communities on Arizona Gives Day with a donation to United Way of Northern Arizona.
Together we can advance early childhood development, positive youth development, and safety and security for our neighbors in northern Arizona. You can make your donation HERE
Contributions to the United Way of Northern Arizona help sustain UWNA initiatives and partnerships in Coconino, Navajo, and Apache counties. We believe in big, bold goals for our region and serve as a convener so that, together, our collective impact moves the needle on the most pressing challenges facing us today:
- Shortage of high-quality childcare
- Youth mental health
- Emergencies such as wildfires and floods
- Cultivating youth leadership
- Fostering a sense of belonging and inclusion for all our youth
In addition to these community investments, United Way of Northern Arizona spearheads several signature initiatives with partners in the community, including the Dolly Parton Imagination Library and KinderCamp™.
Happy Arizona Gives Day and thank you for your commitment to Living United!
