CCC&Y participates in community outreach event in Flagstaff

COCONINO COUNTY — As students return back to school and prepare to enjoy the final month of Summer, reading activities was high on their list this past weekend during the “Stories Under the Sun” Literacy Fair held on Sept. 16 at Foxglenn Park in east Flagstaff.

Presented by The Literacy Center, the United Way of Northern Arizona and Read On Arizona — Flagstaff, the event was supported partners such as Arizona PBS — Arizona State University, Bookmans Entertainment Exchange — Flagstaff, Chicanos Por La CAUSA, the Coconino Coalition for Children & Youth, Desert Financial Credit Union, Education Forward Arizona, the Flagstaff Unified School District (FUSD), Northern Arizona University Early Learning and Development Center, PNC Bank and Tynkertopia.
